The Saunton Sands Hotel in Braunton, North Devon, has been named West Country winner of the Best Loved Hotels Awards 2017/18 and will now be entered for the ‘Overall Hotel of the Year’ title, sponsored by Sky.

Part of the Brend Hotel collection which has also been shortlisted for the hotel group category, four-star Saunton Sands enjoys stunning beach and sea views. The art deco building is regularly refurbished and facilities include AA Rosette dining, a large heated pool and spa facilities. To ensure high standards of customer service, the hotel is also home to the Brend Training Academy which ensures continuing professional development for all members of staff.

The Best Loved Hotel Awards are designed to celebrate and showcase excellence across the UK and nominations are invited from guests.

The Best Loved Hotel awards will take place at The Tewkesbury Park Hotel in Gloucestershire on Monday 13 November.
