Warrington healthy bistro Eat Clean Cuisine is expecting to treble sales this year after moving sales of its nutritional food options online.

Working alongside Warrington digital marketing company Results Through Digital, the Latchford-based eatery is seeing soaring online trade for its healthy takeaways, with thousands of busy families and fitness lovers across the North West visiting its new website to order.

‘Blown Away’

Sitting in his newly-branded Eat Clean Cuisine premises in Latchford, Warrington, Myles Smethurst talked about why he chose to branch out online so early in the company’s growth journey.

“In the early days, I expected we’d earn most of our business through walk-ins and having a strong high street brand presence, but since working with Results Through Digital to build our website and online sales platform I’ve been blown away.

I can’t fault the results as we generated.

We’ve gone from a zero base in terms of online sales and we’ve already hit a good five figure sum in new sales within the first four months alone.

By the end of the year, we’re confidently expecting that to hit six figures. I think our online sales growth could be genuinely incredible.”

Despite being only 18 months old, Eat Clean Cuisine is dominating the town’s healthy eating scene and 34-year-old Myles - who learned his trade in the kitchens of some of the world’s most celebrated chefs and as a private chef to countless global superstars – is keen to boost business growth over the next few years.

In fact, he’d even face the wrath of a dragon!

Dreaming Big

“I’m dreaming big and why not?”

Myles added while eating his protein-packed lunch made by one of the team he calls “our odd little family”.

"I’d happily stand in front of the Dragon’s Den or Alan Sugar on the Apprentice, because I’ve learned the hard way what it takes to be successful and I believe that nothing should phase you when it comes to chasing your ambitions.

Up until now, I’ve achieved every milestone I’ve set myself.

Personally, I’ve got myself in great shape and professionally I feel in the business is in a great position. I do think of myself as being a bit like Gordon Ramsey, just with abs!”

Myles’ inspiration for the pioneering healthy bistro business came about in unusual circumstances.

After losing a close friend to Motor Neurone Disease, he took part in an Ice Bucket Challenge video on Facebook.

Myles weighed 17 stone at the time, and the video shocked him into taking action. Fast forward just a few months, he had lost almost five stone thanks to a relentless training and healthy eating programme.

Inspired by his fresh love of healthy living and eating, Myles realised there was a lack of nutritional food options available on the high street for fitness fans and busy professionals.

It inspired him to bootstrap his way to success with Eat Clean Cuisine in 2015… and he hasn’t looked back.
