Four-Star Hotel Upgrades Bedrooms In Major Refurbishment

One of the top hotels in the South West has undergone a major refurbishment programme to upgrade its bedrooms and suites.


The four-star DoubleTree by Hilton, Cadbury House in Congresbury has upgraded 72 bedrooms including its Junior Suites and Loft Suites, investing over £1.5 million in the project, which has also included a refresh to several public areas.


In keeping with the hotel’s signature boutique-style, the new bedroom décor has an emphasis on elegance and features a chrome finish, relaxing grey-toned colour palette and an unmistakable focus on comfort and luxury.


Drawing inspiration from local landmarks including the SS Great Britain, Clevedon Pier, Clifton Suspension Bridge and Avon Gorge, the bedrooms celebrate Bristol and Somerset’s heritage in its contemporary artwork, perfect for tourists and local visitors alike.


Thought has gone into guests’ convenience with facilities including USB charging points on plug


sockets, double sinks in some bathrooms and additional seating areas for relaxing or working.


The hotel’s brand new state-of-the art Reception area is another key part of the refurbishment programme and boasts a feature ‘living’ wall to the exterior, in a nod to the venue’s lush green surroundings. The space also features huge floor-to-ceiling windows with panoramic views across the North Somerset countryside as well as stylish interior design to make for a striking first impression.
