Christmas party bookings open at The White Hart

Party organisers in Somerset tasked with finding a venue for a works Christmas party this year (2017) are being invited to book up at The White Hart in Weston in Gordano.


The pub is officially launching its festive party menu this week (October 2, 2017).

Manager at The White Hart, Myles Angell says:

“Our Christmas Party Menu is focused on Westcountry-sourced ingredients wherever possible and we make every dish on-site.

To add to this, we’ve added some vegetarian and gluten-free dishes too.

Starters include a spiced pumpkin soup with homemade bread, Atlantic prawn cocktail and sourdough, goats cheese and cranberry arancini and duck liver parfait with orange butter glaze and crostini.

Of course, we’ve got roast breast of British turkey with all the trimmings on the menu, but we also do a potato crusted parsnip and chestnut hotpot & seasonal vegetables, a four-hour slow-cooked blade of beef, horseradish mash and seasonal vegetables or salmon dish, or a pan-fried fillet of sea bass, chorizo and puy lentils.

The puds on offer include a White Hart individual mince pie with brandy cream, Chocolate and hazelnut parfait, hazelnut brittle and a Selection of local cheese and biscuits. So, there’s something to please most palates.”


The Christmas Party Menu costs £24.99 per person for a three-course meal, which is available at lunchtime and in the evenings.

A lunchtime only Christmas Party Menu featuring just two-courses is available for £19.99 per person. A Christmas buffet menu is also available for £15.95 per person.
