A top tourist attraction will have some extra special drinks in its chiller during its special Halloween nights thanks to a sponsorship deal with Bacardi.

The largest privately-held, family-owned, spirits company in the world is backing the Halloween Unfairground events at the Grand Pier in Weston-super-Mare.

The move will see the drinks giant undertake a full bar take-over during the fright night specials, with a range of specially-themed cocktails and spirits being offered for sale.

Cookies and Scream, Stir and Toil, Cackle Spritz and Viper Reviver are among the special treats on offer, together with favourites like Mojito and Raspberry Mojito.

Everyone who buys one of the creepy cocktails will also received a free Bacardi flashing wristband, which will also be available to purchase on each of the Halloween Unfairground evenings.

And, of course, the familiar Bacardi branding will be visible at the seafront attraction too.

Now in its fourth year, Halloween Unfairground at the Grand Pier promises to be bigger and better than ever in 2019,

It takes place on October 24, 25, 26, 31 and November 1 and 2, and features a variety of scare zones, featuring an army of live actors who have all undertaken special ‘scare training’ to provide people with thrilling experience.

Hollie Otley, events manager at the Grand Pier, said:

“Halloween is becoming a bigger event every year and more and more attractions are getting into the spirit of the season and staging their own special events.

“To be able to attract the support and sponsorship of an iconic brand like Bacardi is an extra-special thrill for us, as it’s an endorsement of the quality of the event we are hosting this year.

“We’ve pulled out all the stops to make this our most terrifying Halloween Unfairground yet, so many of our visitors are probably going to need a drink once they’ve been inside our scream park.

“The themed cocktails created by Bacardi will be just the tonic, and we’re delighted that such a world-famous big name wants to be associated with our event.”
