A Swindon based HR Consultancy has bucked the national trend by expanding to meet the needs of clients as they tackle the challenges of the pandemic.

Louise Skittrall, owner of Robinson Grace HR Consultancy has recruited two new team members, creating a brand new Health & Safety division with both Andrew Wilkinson, Heath & Safety Expert, and Hayley White, a recruitment and induction specialist joining the team to help clients adopt the Kickstart work placement scheme for 16 to 24 year olds.

“Like many small businesses, Robinson Grace HR Consultancy found their clients needing a different range of services during lockdown, prompting them to join many local businesses who have needed to change how they operate in the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic”

said Louise.

“The HR Consultancy has added two new team members to keep up with demand from clients dealing with the changing guidance on furlough, flexi furlough and operating in tier 2, alongside those looking at restructuring and pivoting their services to remain open during the pandemic.”

Andrew has been working with clients requesting support in making business premises Covid secure and ensuring that staff working from home for the first time meet home working Health & Safety requirements.

Hayley has been working with clients keen to recruit funded kickstart employees through the Government scheme, via the Consultancy’s Government Gateway status.

“I know that many businesses are struggling in these unprecedented times. Pivoting my business in a slightly different direction by adding a Health & Safety division to our HR services has led to real growth whilst enabling us to offer essential services to our clients at a time when they most need our support”

Said Louise.
