Carterwood's engaging, rewarding and progressive approach with plenty of opportunities for career growth are just a few of the reasons that Lucy, Nick, Ellen and Sam joined this health & social care specialist's team based in Bristol.

Sam Sefton originally joined the business as a placement student and decided to return following his graduation. With two of our current directors both having joined as graduates, Sam identified Carterwood as a company with real prospects for development based on merit and not just length of service, saying:

“If you work hard there are a lot of opportunities, and that appealed to me.”

Our mission is to revolutionise and challenge the norm, and Lucy Thomas has joined as HR Manager to help realise this ambition around our people strategy. Flexible working is already a part of how the business works, and we are keen to explore other ways in which we can strengthen our employee engagement so that Carterwood continues to be a rewarding and engaging place to work.

Nick Evans and Ellen Vines have joined as graduates from the University of Birmingham and the University of Bristol, and rewarding and progressive were the words they felt best summed up why they joined the business. Both studied degree subjects that have provided them with excellent research and analytical skills, which are key to Carterwood’s Advisory services.

Carterwood founder and managing director Amanda Nurse says:

“I am really thrilled to welcome our new team members, who are joining Carterwood at a very exciting time. We have growth plans in place for all areas of the business and their contribution will be valuable in helping us achieve these.”
