Speaking at the event will be Steve Maggs, Tax Partner and Alison Elvey, Grants Specialist, both of Robinson Reed Layton and Simon King, Regional Manager at Lloyds Bank Commercial Finance.

Steve Maggs, who will be addressing the need for businesses to regularly review their funding for growth, commented,

“A lot of business in Cornwall are experiencing growth, and I frequently find that they are outgrowing their existing business model. In these cases, it’s important to review their company structure and tax arrangements to make sure they are fully maximizing the funds available within the company.

Maggs continued,

“Businesses are often missing out on valuable tax reliefs which they don’t realise are applicable to them, so this event will open local business owners’ eyes to some of the opportunities available.”

Chris White, Lloyds Bank Relationship Manager SME Banking in Cornwall commented,

“Simon will be advising businesses on how to maximize working capital and supporting clients to unlock funds and accelerate cashflow.

Chris continued,

“This is a fantastic opportunity for local business owners to benefit from three experts in their respective fields and I really am looking forward to the event.”

Alison Elvey, Grants Specialist at Robinson Reed Layton added,

“There are still many grant options for businesses who are planning to grow but many find the grants landscape confusing and bureaucratic. I will be explaining what funds are available and how to access them.”
