A partner at national law firm Clarke Willmott LLP has been awarded a prestigious agricultural accolade.

Esther Woolford, who heads up the commercial and private client litigation team at the national firm’s Taunton office, has become a Fellow of the Agricultural Law Association (ALA).

The Agricultural Law Association is the UK’s largest inter-professional organisation devoted to the law and business of the countryside and a fellowship award is a badge of excellence from the Association.

Esther commented:

“I am delighted to have been awarded the Fellowship of the ALA. It’s a really prestigious accolade and the additional training in those areas of law relevant to rural practice has widened my overall knowledge which will stand me in good stead when representing my clients.

“This award is consistent with the firm’s longstanding Top Tier status for Agriculture in the Chambers guide and further demonstrates how the firm is dedicated to this area of the law.”

Esther specialises in agricultural and property litigation as well as contentious probate and trusts and commercial matters (including Agri-Business and Agri-Tech) and leads a team of 15 lawyers. Esther’s expertise includes working with landed estates, agricultural clients, private clients and businesses.

Clarke Willmott LLP is a national law firm with seven offices across the country, including Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, London, Manchester, Southampton and Taunton.
