Hardman engineers move to Weightmans

National law firm Weightmans has appointed Construction and Engineering expert Ian Hardman as Partner.


Based in the firm’s Manchester office, Ian is the latestspecialist construction lawyer to join the Weightmans’ national Built Environment team after a series of new hires in the last year. He joins the firm from Brabners, where he headed the non-contentious construction team.


Ian has a wide range of experience providing advice upon all different types of procurement options and documentation in relation to large building and engineering projects across many sectors including education, retail, maritime, developers/investors and energy.


Leading legal directories Chambers UK and the Legal 500 rate Ian as one of the leading construction lawyers in the North-West, with Chambers reporting that clients are‘hugely impressed - everything we ask for is done in a timely manner and to a high standard’. Legal 500 describes Ian as ‘an experienced and commercially astute lawyer’.
