Fletchers Solicitors bolsters board with highly esteemed non-executive director

Fletchers Solicitors has appointed Vikas Shah MBE as a non-executive director to its board.


With an extremely impressive career spanning over 20 years’, Vikas has a wealth of experience in business management and is one of the UK’s highest profile entrepreneurs.


Vikas is CEO of Swiscot Group, an international trading business, and is a venture investor in numerous businesses across the world. In 2012, he also co-founded feature film studio, 53 Degrees North.


Vikas is a member of the UK Industrial Development Advisory Board (advising Ministers on business and industrial strategy) and sits on the Digital Advisory Board of The British Council.


On the Fletchers Solicitors board, Vikas will work with the Fletchers executive team to help the firm remain at the absolute cutting edge of entrepreneurial and innovative thinking. He also brings a wealth of governance and external engagement perspectives, crucial as Fletchers grows year on year.


Vikas has recently been appointed as Honorary Professor at the University of Manchester, and also received an MBE for Service to Business and the Economy in the Her Majesty the Queen’s New Year’s Honours List this year. Since 2013, he has been a visiting professor of entrepreneurship at MIT Sloan School of Management on The Lisbon MBA.
