Davey Law appoints specialist employment law solicitor, Faye Reynolds, as head of its fast-growing employment department

Well-known Gloucestershire law firm Davey Law has recently appointed Faye Reynolds to head up its employment department. Faye practises exclusively in employment law and advises businesses and individuals on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law, providing pragmatic, cost-effective, commercial solutions.

Whatever the size of your business, the right employment advice can make a world of difference. Faye has advised and represented employers ranging from privately owned businesses with a handful of employees to publicly listed companies, including the UK’s largest operator of hotels and restaurants, and a global airline.

Faye’s experience includes advising on and personally managing conduct and capability disciplinary procedures, grievance processes and dismissals, redundancies and restructuring.

She can negotiate for employers or employees in connection with settlement of claims via ACAS, as well as represent clients at Judicial Mediation. And if an issue cannot be settled through negotiation, Faye has substantial experience of drafting Employment Tribunal pleadings and can represent clients at Employment Tribunal hearings nationwide, including multi-day final hearings.

Faye can also advise on and draft employment documents including contracts of employment, post termination restrictive covenants, employee handbooks, consultancy agreements, directors’ service agreements and settlement agreements, ensuring your employment documentation and processes are compliant and effective.

With offices in Cirencester and Gloucester, and a keen and committed team of legal specialists, Davey Law has a long-standing reputation for real-world, pragmatic legal advice coupled with personal service. Peter Davies, Managing Director and Head of Litigation at Davey Law, said:

“We are delighted to welcome Faye with her wealth of experience in employment law. She has a personable, hand-on approach, explaining employment law in a way that is clear and easy to understand, and advising clients on the best way to achieve the outcome they’re looking for, rather than simply telling them what the law says. We’re looking forward to working with Faye and to the energy and ideas she is bringing to our employment services for the benefit of our clients”.
