Bristol law firm Barcan+Kirby, has appointed Alex Castiglione, the firm's current Head of Commercial Property, as Partner.

Alex joined Barcan+Kirby in 2002 as a temporary receptionist, and took the opportunity to obtain her Chartered Legal Executive qualifications, specialising in commercial property, with assistance from the firm.

Since qualifying in 2007, Alex continued to grow the firm's commercial property division from its Clifton office, dealing with legal issues relating to commercial property sales and purchases, land acquisitions, plot sales and commercial re-financing.

In 2016, Alex became the first Legal Executive to be promoted to Senior Associate in the firm’s history.

Her further promotion to Head of Commercial Property last year, cemented her position as a key player within the firm, whilst her efforts to grow Barcan+Kirby’s offering to small to medium-sized businesses in the Bristol area, have continued to show results.
