Two members of Brewin Dolphin’s South West regional team have been promoted. Vicky Eastwood is now a divisional director based at the wealth management company’s Exeter office and James Holt has been appointed assistant director in Plymouth.
Vicky began her wealth management career with Goldman Sachs in London before moving to Devon and joining Brewin Dolphin fourteen years ago. Her new role is largely focused around delivering sustainable portfolios that are tailored for each client.
“Achieving an individual’s financial objectives is a top priority but understanding what matters to them is also very important,”
said Vicky.
“More and more people are interested in investments that align with their individual ethical world view – for example, positively supporting environmental change, the transition away from fossil fuels, or improving global conditions for humanity. I particularly enjoy working with my clients, providing assurance that their financial interests are being well looked after so they can concentrate on their personal goals and family life. “Becoming a director also means contributing to leading our growing team. As the mother of three young girls, I’ve always been grateful for my particularly supportive line manager and for the company culture – both of which have offered me the flexibility and agile working that have enabled me to progress whilst raising my children.”
James Holt joined Brewin Dolphin eight years ago after graduating from the University of Plymouth with a degree in economics. He will remain as an investment manager and, in his new role, will continue to focus on developing strategic partnerships with financial advisers across the region.
