The Manchester-based consultancy is one of only three UK finalists in the Sole Practitioner category

The Xero Awards are a celebration of excellence among accounting and bookkeeping companies that use Xero accounting software to help UK businesses to thrive.

Enso was founded in 2018 by Adam Nurbhai after a successful career at heavyweight consultants BDO where he worked with a range of global brands.

Nurbhai’s mission is to break with the traditional, staid accounting image and help his clients to capitalise on advances in accounting technologies like Xero.

Commenting on the news, Adam Nurbhai said:

‘What an honour!

‘To be one of only a few businesses to be recognised by the Xero team for our work in helping Manchester SMEs to embrace the power of technology. That’s precisely why I founded Enso.

‘We want to support our clients as they benefit from the efficiencies and enhanced controls that cloud-based finance tech’ offers. And of course, set them fair for when Making Tax Digital becomes the norm in 2020.

‘This award shows we’re definitely on the right track and making a real impact in our industry. I’m grateful to the Xero team for acknowledging the work Enso is doing.’

The finalists will be attending a glittering award ceremony at London’s Electric Brixton in March 2020.

To add to the celebrations it’s also been announced that Adam has been nominated as the Junior Alumni of the Year from the Manchester Grammar School.
