A national training specialist is expanding in the Midlands after a hat-trick of new appointments and securing office space.

Gradvert, which started as a graduate recruitment business and has rapidly grown into a bespoke training provider working with national and international clients, has appointed three new staff members, as it looks to expand its customer base in the area.

The Newcastle headquartered business, which also has an office in London, has appointed Perry Deakin, John Wilkins and Samantha Thompson, after growing its client portfolio in the Midlands. Perry has taken up the role of sales and marketing director, having joined the company with a wealth of experience under his belt. He will head up the Gradvert Midlands team with support from experienced manager John and Samantha, who joined the company from a similar role in the financial services field.

Michaela Reaney, who set up the company in 2012, said: “We have seen really rapid expansion in the Midlands, and have started to see more and more opportunities in the area. John and Samantha’s appointments will galvanise our position, and build upon the fantastic work Perry has done in the months since he joined.

“We see vast potential in the area and believe the encouraging start we have seen is just the beginning of genuine and sustainable growth here. We have exciting, ambitious plans for expansion in the Midlands and I am sure that with the appointment of Perry, John and Samantha, and the commitment we have taken in securing office space, we will realise our undoubted potential.”

The company has secured a string of high profile clients nationally, working with brands like Tiger Retail and Go-Ahead among others. It has taken up a lease on an office in Blythe Valley Business Park in Solihull.
“Taking a base in the Midlands was a very easy decision for us,” said Michaela.
“There is a huge amount happening in this part of the country and we are committed to growing our presence here. The base we have taken is an excellent central point, as we are working right across the region already. There are some really exciting projects in the pipeline, and I am hugely excited about what the future holds for us here.”

Perry added: “I’ve been with Gradvert for only a short period of time, but I am so excited about what we can achieve here. The growth the business has seen overall has been impressive, and Michaela has a very clear vision for Gradvert’s development, so it is really exciting to be part of such an exciting and vibrant team, that I am absolutely confident will carry on with its steep upward trajectory.”
