No stranger to doing things differently, Oliver Manchester is delighted to be part of ‘Blazing A Trail’ National Apprentice week, from 4th to the 8th of March.

The agency will not only be supporting events and activities throughout the week but, at the same time, embracing two apprentices of their own.

Graduates, Emily Kidd (23) and Ben Ditchfield (26), have both just started Account Executive Apprenticeships at Oliver Manchester.

It’s a clear demonstration of Oliver’s commitment to a fantastic scheme and helping two talented and enthusiastic young people get their first foot in the door of a creative industry.

David Sawyer, Manchester Regional Director & MD of Healthcare,

“As Oliver Manchester continues to grow it is essential we continue to build our team of people from the ground up. Both Ben and Emily have got off to a flyer and we are looking forward to watching them develop with the business.”

Can’t get a job without experience - can’t get experience without a job. It can be a Catch 22.

Ben Ditchfield,

“After leaving university, finding a job can be a difficult task without much experience. An apprenticeship at Oliver will allow me to get that experience. Learning key digital skills while working for a leading marketing agency.”

Earning whilst learning.

Emily Kidd,

“After doing my degree in English and Film studies, I wanted to stay within the creative field but was unsure of a way into the industry. By doing the apprenticeship I’ve been able to get off to a great start, with a great creative company, whilst still being able to learn.”

Everyone at Oliver wishes Ben and Emily, and all trailblazers, commencing apprenticeships, the very best for the future and success in their chosen careers.
