Birmingham City Football Club are showing their support for National Apprenticeship Week 2017 by appointing their very own Apprentice Ambassador.

National Apprenticeship Week 2017 is designed to celebrate the positive impact Apprenticeships have on local individuals, local businesses and the economy.

Adam Clark, Business Administration Apprentice at Birmingham City Football Club has been recognised for his passion; both for the football club and his Apprenticeship having been appointed the coveted title of Apprentice Ambassador for the club.

He started his Apprenticeship journey in July 2016 and has since gone on to be a pivotal part of the administration team at Birmingham City FC.

Chris Brewerton, Business Development Manager at Birmingham City FC commented on the partnership with 3aaa Apprenticeships;

“The partnership between Birmingham City FC and 3aaa Apprenticeships started in January 2015 following a very positive meeting about the 3aaa Apprenticeships Power of Sport campaign and the benefits of hiring an Apprentice as a club. By the summer, we had identified an opportunity for an Apprentice to join our team for the administration side of the club, assisting Sophie Grant, the office manager. The 3aaa Apprenticeships team then went on to discover our gem, Adam Clark.

Adam has shown a real commitment to the role and 3aaa Apprenticeships’ Birmingham Academy have been great in the mentoring and supporting of Adam, developing his skills to suit our business needs and making his role an asset to the club. Also, he is a life-long Birmingham City fan, which is what we desire as a club. We are passionate about getting professionals involved with Birmingham City FC at the beginning of their career, getting to know the business aspect and letting their underlining passion for both the club and the sport shine through. This will then nurture them into highly valuable members of staff.

We are proud of Adam’s achievements already in the workplace, which is why we wanted to appoint him as our Apprentice Ambassador.”
