Children at Mama Bear’s Day Nursery and Pre-Schools across Bristol have held a series of fundraising activities to raise money for Children in Need.

The children at the family-run group’s settings across Bristol, Somerset and Devon raised an impressive £4000 for the important cause with their week-long charity efforts.

The funds were raised with bake sales, colouring competitions, fancy dress days and raffles.

Tony Driffield, co-owner of Mama Bear’s said:

“We are great supporters of Children in Need every year and each one of our nurseries took part in some activity to raise money for the charity.

“It’s a great event for the children to get involved in and, of course, a fantastic cause to support. We’re so pleased to have raised such a fantastic amount and we hope it makes a small difference to those in need.”

Mama Bear’s offers high-quality, affordable care across the South West. Established in 2002 the group now includes 23 nursery settings in Bristol, Somerset and Devon which are consistently rated by Ofsted as Good or Outstanding.
