The Worcestershire Ambassadors has named four businesses which have become the organisation’s first ever strategic partners.

Respected estate agency Andrew Grant and Worcester law firm Lowes Solicitors, together with county events specialist DRP and Greenworks Solutions, a facilities management company, all become partners of the Ambassadors.

The deal will see all four businesses playing prominent roles in fundraising events and each will present £15,000 to four local charities after next year’s Charity Ball in October.

Kevin Powell, chair of the Ambassadors, which helps to develop the county’s economic prosperity and encourage inward investment, says the deal will help the organisation to do even more for Worcestershire.

He said:

“Since the Worcestershire Ambassadors was formed almost 20 years ago we have put fundraising and promoting the county at the centre of everything. Bringing on board four fantastic businesses as partners will help us build on our successes and help us donate even more funds to wonderful charities across Worcestershire.

“Each of the new partner businesses have inspirational leaders who have done so much for local communities over several decades. Taking their support up to the next level is a big milestone and we’re delighted to have them on board.”

Andrew Grant Estate Agents was founded in 1971 by Andrew Grant with the business growing to have over 10 branches across the region. Lowes Solicitors, based in Worcester Foregate Street, is led by partner and founder Tracy Lowe and specialises in family law.

Hartlebury-headquartered DRP is a multi-award-winning international events management firm launched in 1980 by managing director, Dale Parmenter. Meanwhile, Greenworks Solutions is a facilities management business with customers across the UK. It’s managing director is Adam Warren.

The Worcestershire Ambassadors fundraise for a variety of local charities and good causes. Events next year include popular Strictly Worcestershire event, an annual golf day, and the Ambassador’s showpiece black-tie ball.

Since 2013, the Worcestershire Ambassadors have raised almost £400,000 for good causes in Worcestershire - including Rory the Robot, St Richards Hospice, Worcestershire Prostate Awareness and the Worcestershire Community Foundation.
