Barcan+Kirby Raises Thousands For The Grand Appeal Charity

Law firm, Barcan+Kirby presented a special cheque to The Grand Appeal, after raising £12,325 for the Bristol Children’s Hospital Charity.


The firm raised thousands for the popular charity that supports children and their families at the hospital and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at St Michael’s, by hosting a number of fundraising events and endurance feats.


More than £9,000 was raised by one of the founding Partners of the firm, Giles Woodward and Compliance Manager, GemmaGeoghegan in an epic cycle challenge covering more than 160 miles from Land’s End to Bristol.


Staff also hosted three auctions, two raffles, twelve dress-down days and the Barcan+Kirby Bake Off Challenge to reach the final sum raised.


Commenting on the fundraising efforts, Managing Partner, Bill Willcocks said:

“We are thrilled to have been able to raise such a wonderful sum for The Grand Appeal, a charity that works tirelessly in support of the children and their families being cared for by Bristol Children’s Hospital.

“Thanks also to all the staff at Barcan+Kirby who took on the many fundraising challenges and events with so much enthusiasm.”
