And this one wouldn't have been possible without the support of Embassy Midlands in Birmingham!

Coronavirus had presented some practical challenges for Mahbir, but however much I had thought that I was prepared for #Brexit, I had no idea of how much of a logistical nightmare it would be.

At the beginning of this year, I promised that for as long as I can, I will inherit the additional costs that were caused by Brexit. but I didn't realise that would also mean extra grey hairs too! It's been a very stressful few weeks but my partners across the EU can now finally receive their orders of saffron, and don't worry, there's plenty in stock.

We've learnt a lot in the past few weeks. The 2020 saffron crop had actually arrived in the UK from Kashmir back in January but UPS Nederland couldn't deliver (both metaphorically and literally) and it was sitting in their London warehouse for four weeks. After reaching out to the team at Embassy Midlands I was finally able to get it sent back to Coventry for distribution.

Thank you to Martin, James and the www.embassymidlands.com team for saving my business.

Whether you in the UK, EU or elsewhere, you can order our award-winning Kashmiri saffron on www.mahbir.com
