A Shropshire taxi firm has appointed a new business development manager to expand its executive car service.

Go Carz, Shropshire’s largest private hire firm, launched Go Exec - a new exclusive service to customers in November, providing a new fleet of top-of-the-range cars to cater for business clients and formal occasions.
It has been such a success that the firm has made the new appointment with the aim of expanding the service even further.
Graeme Cleland, who has an MBA from Wolverhampton University Business School, joins Go Carz with a wealth of key account experience after a career in marketing, printing and publishing nationwide.
“I am really excited about the role and it’s clear that Go Carz - and Go Exec in particular - have a bright future,” he said.
“My new role at Go Carz will mean getting out and about, forming a good working relationship with companies and spreading the word about Go Exec.
“I will be connecting with local businesses, leisure clubs and hotels to explain the advantages of Go Exec and what the service could mean for them.
“The popularity of the service since its launch proves there is a market out there to be filled and I will be driving that idea forward - Go Exec is a major priority for Go Carz.
“I have lived in Shropshire for about 18 years now so know the area very well and I can’t wait to get started.”
The service provides luxury travel to and from airports or business meetings and also caters for special events and other occasions where appearance and a favourable image is a vital aspect of what the client is trying to achieve.

Go Exec drivers are specially trained to provide an executive service and the premium package also offers in-car wifi, newspapers and refreshments.
Cindy Wilday, area director at Go Carz who was behind the development of Go Exec, said the company wanted to expand the executive side of the business after making such a promising start.
