Nationwide Vehicle Contracts has won the Best Leasing Broker Marketing Award at the Leasing Broker Federation Awards.

Sponsored by BMW/MINI Group and Hyundai, the Leasing Broker Federation Awards – formerly the Small Fleet Leasing Federation Awards – are presented by the Leasing Broker Federation, an independent membership organisation that supports and promotes leasing brokers across the UK.

The judges considered the Nationwide’s website innovations - such as Fast Lease and their new variant stock feature - has improved the customer experience, widened the number of cars available, and provided express delivery of fleet cars. Combined these improvements have had a significant impact on sales – up by over 50% - with 70% of stock cars delivered within the month.

Chair of the judges, David Brennan chief executive of Nexus Vehicle Management, said:

“Nationwide Vehicle Contracts has an established history of technical innovation and implementing targeted marketing strategies to drive increases in sales. They are continually introducing new features that offer competitively priced fleet vehicles along with an unrivalled customer experience.”

Leasing brokers have a growing influence in the vehicle finance sector, with 2016 seeing impressive market growth.

Latest data, provided by the British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association, shows that leasing brokers’ combined car and van volumes grew by 11% since the end of 2015 with much of this growth driven by personal contract hire, which has seen its share of leasing broker business rise to 43% at the midway point of the year, up from 39% at the end of 2015.

Donna Kelly, digital marketing manager at Nationwide Vehicle Contracts, who accepted the award said:

“We are very pleased to win the Marketing Award at the 2016 Leasing Broker Federation Awards. Following the success of our Fast Lease service which was launched back in 2011, Nationwide Vehicle Contracts has invested significantly in stock availability and our continued commitment means we can now supply and deliver most vehicles within a two to three week period.

“We believe this award reflects our commitment to offer our customers an even wider selection of stock cars available for quick delivery at great prices, as well as our dedication to provide the highest level of service possible.”
