Kinaxia Logistics have announced that they have acquired Mark Thompson Transport Limited based at Warrington, Cheshire.
Mark Thompson Transport Limited is the eighth acquisition for Kinaxia Logistics. Other companies within Kinaxia Logistics include Bay Freight Limited, William Kirk Limited, NC Cammack & Sons Limited, Foulger Transport Limited, Lambert Brothers Haulage Limited, Panic Transport (Contracts) Limited and Maiden’s of Telford Limited.
Mark Thompson Transport was formed in 1989 and has seen substantial growth in recent years built on its high levels of customer focus, reliable cost effective service and use of state-of-the-art technology. It has a strong customer base including long-standing relationships with such companies as Hermes, DX, TNT and Victoria Plum. The company currently employs around 160 staff and has a fleet of 153 vehicles.
Mark Thompson Transport Limited is another successful and highly respected company to join the Kinaxia Group. It is focused on the through-the-night logistics and supply-chain sector work and will provide a base for Kinaxia to further develop in this sector across the UK as well as enhancing Kinaxia’s existing coverage and service levels.
They share the same customer-service culture and aspirations as the existing Kinaxia companies and, as with all previous Kinaxia acquisitions, all staff will be retained. It is anticipated that Mark Thompson Transport Limited’s growth will be further accelerated by maintaining its existing high levels of customer service whilst extending its reach by working with the other Kinaxia companies.
