It has been a roaring success for the North West caravan and motorhome industry. The opening of the highly anticipated The Caravan and Motorhome Show 2017 saw visitors in their droves admire all the delights the show has to offer.

With caravans and motorhomes to suit all budgets and lifestyles, ranging from luxurious £90k motorhomes to those that rival the comforts of your average house, it’s the one-stop shop for all caravan and motorhome enthusiasts.

Brothers Brian and Stanley Laing, from family run Glossop Caravans, said: “This has been by far the busiest day we’ve ever had at The Caravan & Motorhome Show, with potential customers on the stand from 10am and we even had our first caravan sale at 11am. The stand has continued to be busy all day.”

A real draw this year has been the variety of new and innovative models that are also on display - perfect for sporty adventurers and those who have never been on a staycation holiday before.

The show is more poignant than ever as more Brits are choosing UK based holidays, due to the on-going uncertainty regarding travel in Europe following the EU Referendum result.

Nikki Nichol, External Communications and Sponsorship Manager at The Caravan Club, said: “It has been a fantastic start to The Caravan & Motorhome Show 2017. There’s been a really great atmosphere today, with record numbers of people through the door. We are delighted to have had Matt Allwright for Caravan Club day. The show is set to be a runaway success.”
