DRP Wins IT & Telecoms Event Of The Year At C&IT Awards 2016

The annual C&IT (Conference and Incentive Travel) Excellence Awards identifies and celebrates the most innovative and successful events within B2B sectors both in the UK and overseas. This year drp won the IT & Telecoms Event of the Year Award for their event with EE.

Held at the prestigious Hilton London on Park Lane, 23rd September, over 500 top events industry professionals were in attendance. Traditional and iconic, the London Hilton on Park Lane is a 5 star hotel boasting some of the best banqueting facilities in London, including the Grand Ballroom, which hosted this year's Awards presentation and dinner.

Recognised in four separate categories,drp took home a win in the IT & Telecoms category and was shortlisted for Automotive Event of the Year with Triumph Motorcycles, Best Event Solution to a Business Challenge with their event drp 35, and UK Agency of the Year.

drp worked closely with telecoms giant EE to produce, create, manage, and deliver their most innovative annual company conference. After 40 days of production, in April 2016 over 5,000 EE colleagues from all levels celebrated their achievements over the past 3 years and with a renewed plan for the future, got 100% ambitious about being the best. The event needed to effectively communicate their new business strategy and mark a key milestone in EE’s history.

A series of 8 live events took place at the Birmingham NEC over a two week period, and this was supported with a development of a new comms campaign, creative content development and production, delegate management and communications with a dedicated event app, and all technical solutions to deliver the overall experience.
