Physical Digital is delighted to welcome Steve Fletcher into the team of the award-winning 3D optical measurement company. Steve brings a wealth of engineering experience to the new role of Business Development Manager at this thriving firm.

Since 2005, Physical Digital has been providing 3D measurement services to a wide variety of clients from many industry sectors. The company has gained an enviable reputation for excellence and professionalism, utilising the internationally-respected Gesellschaft für Optische Messtechnik (GOM) 3D optical scanning systems.

We are now pleased to welcome on board Steve Fletcher into the role of Business Development Manager to service a growing number of clients across high-value sectors such as aerospace, automotive, motorsport and marine. Steve explains that he is looking forward to the flexibility of working for Physical Digital’s 3D measurement team helping to solve engineering problems: “I’m excited to be involved with a diverse range of industries again. In a career that began as a Toolmaker at Rolls Royce, Steve has gained significant experience of the aerospace and metrology sectors and a reputation as a respected conference speaker. A strong team player, Steve’s passion to inspire and enhance great customer service fits perfectly with Physical Digital’s ethos of delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Steve brings a breadth of knowledge of non-contact metrology and its applications within high-value manufacturing such as the aerospace industry. His experience and expertise are combined with an ability to communicate the techniques and benefits that 3D metrology brings to the processes and applications of engineering and manufacturing. Outside work, Steve is an active member of his local rugby club and enjoys outdoor pursuits including hiking and mountain biking.
