Guests of The Stratton House Hotel and Spa were treated to a glimpse of its new restaurant and menu, along with a preview of its forthcoming weekly events.

Last Thursday 11 April 2024, saw Stratton and Cirencester residents and businesses join Stratton House Hotel owners, Aidan and Sarah Stevens, at the exclusive launch evening for the newly refurbished Garden Restaurant.

Guests were greeted with fizz on arrival from General Manager Ricardo Canestra and members of the hotel's Food and Beverage team, as well as a selection of delicious canapes created by Head Chef Tim, inspired by many of the dishes from the new seasonal menu.

The £300k refurbishment of the kitchen and Garden Restaurant was the latest investment in the 43-bed, 17th Century Cirencester hotel, which has already seen all of the bedrooms refurbished and the addition of a £1 million Spa in 2021.

"It was great to see so many people share the relaunch of the Garden Restaurant with us. A big thank you to everyone who came along and to our great team for putting on such a wonderful evening. Our aim is to provide something different for the Stratton and Cirencester community and the feedback on the night was extremely positive",
owner and director Aidan said.
"We don't want to be seen as simply a hotel for our residents, instead we want to create a friendly, local venue where the community can come together to enjoy quality food, share our stunning gardens and relax in our Spa."

"Our weekly Wine down Wednesdays will offer wines from our new wine wall at retail prices and each Thursday is now Stratton Grill Night. Our next big event is on Bank Holiday Monday, 27 May, when we will be hosting our Party in the Garden with live music, family games, cocktails, outdoor bar and more of our delicious food, so please come along and join us."

Aidan added.
