National law firm, VWV, has announced the addition of Terence Dickens to their commercial litigation team, based in their Bristol office. Terence's arrival marks a significant milestone for VWV in their ongoing efforts to bolster expertise across the team.

With 20 years' experience across several law firms, Terence has joined VWV as a partner, taking with him a diverse skill set in financial services litigation (including FCA supervision and enforcement matters), commercial disputes and contentious procurement cases. Notably, he has frequently worked with IFAs and investment managers and is recognised for his adept handling of contentious issues in this area.

Prior to joining VWV, Terence held a prominent position at fellow South-West based law firm, Foot Anstey, with further experience at RPC, Eversheds and Allen & Overy. He worked with clientele encompassing financial services firms, corporates, private individuals, and public sector entities.

Ed Husband, head of the Commercial Litigation and recoveries team at VWV, expressed excitement for Terence's arrival, highlighting the significant impact he expects him to make on an already strong commercial litigation team.

"I'm delighted that Terence has joined our growing Commercial Litigation team. His high calibre experience will complement the disputes work that the team already undertakes for high quality clients nationally while adding a new offering in financial services litigation".

With offices located in Birmingham, Bristol, London, and Watford, VWV boasts an experienced team of litigators across the country. Specialising in providing comprehensive counsel to their clientele including businesses, public sector entities, and charitable organisations, VWV is dedicated to guiding clients toward efficient and cost-effective dispute resolution strategies. They believe that Terence's proactive approach to dispute avoidance and early resolution aligns seamlessly with their client-centric service approach.

On his move to VWV, Terence commented,

"I am really excited to be embarking on the next stage of my career with the firm. VWV is on a clear growth trajectory and offers a fantastic platform for the future. I look forward to complementing the commercial litigation team's well-established expertise but also developing something new to that on the financial services disputes side."
